Alliance Bank to open in new Waterford location
TBL has learned that St. Paul,MN-based Alliance Bank, a privately-owned community bank with more than $550 million in assets, announced this week that it will open a full-service bank at the new Waterford development, 310 Pinnacle Way, Eau Claire. The mixed-use property will include office space, luxury condominiums, a senior citizen complex, galleria shops, restaurants, walking trails and a fitness center.
According to Curt Van Auken, president of Alliance Bank in Eau Claire, the new location will allow the financial instititution to take advantage of the main transportation route through Eau Claire.
"We are excited to be a part of this $90 million development. The premiere location on Hastings Way is well-situated for the 50,000 business owners and individuals that pass by every day and this new village environment will make it convenient for the residents and businesses of Waterford to bank with us," said Van Auken, who added that the new facility will serve as a second Eau Claire location in addition to the existing operation on Mall Drive.
Alliance Bank, which will have 10 locations in Minnesota and Wisconsin once the new facility is complete, was established in 1867. The company also announced the addition of three new employees that will work out of the new Waterford offices. They are: Justin Bauer, Denny Burkart and Deidre Tumm, who all specialize in providing business customers with lending, cash management and private banking services.
