"We've entered into an agreement to purchase the building. Our intent is to relocate our production office in Eau Claire and open sometime in October," said Citizens State Bank President and CEO Dennis Vogel, who added that he will be hiring a branch manager, personal banker and tellers. Mark Seyer, who currently serves as the Eau Claire branch manager will be the branch's commercial loan and business development officer.
The 3,600-square-foot facility became vacant when Citizens Community Federal moved its branch office from Altoona into Gordy's County Market in Eau Claire.
Dean Larsen of Acquisition Realty and Development handled the building sale.
The new Citizens State Bank branch office will be a full-service facility, featuring retail and deposit products, drive-up and business banking services, according to Vogel.
Citizens State Bank was founded in Clayton,WI, in 1907. Vogel and his partners added a second location in downtown LaCrosse in 2005, a third location in Onalaska in 2008 and a new office at 4235 Southtowne Dr., Eau Claire, in 2010.
