Former Jennico building to be acquired soon
TBL has learned that Plank Enterprises Inc., the parent company of LPI Inc., LDPI Inc., Pro-Cise Inc. and Badger Industrial Supply and Equpment,LLC, all located at 800 Wisconsin St., Eau Claire, is close to finalizing the purchase of the former Jennico building at 4404 Anderson Dr., Eau Claire, from Menomonie-based DAL Investments 2.
"I really can't say anything at this time, other than we are in negotiations and it seems positive...but nothing has been finalized," said Plank Enterprises President Mike Ottum.
Dean Larsen of Acquisition Realty & Development, who is representing the buyer and seller of the 122,000-square-foot facility, said the deal is close to being finalized.
"Plank Enterprises has an accepted offer, but there are conditions that have to be met before it's a done deal," said Larsen, who added that the building was most recently occupied by Jennico2. Prior to that, TriCo Solutions leased the complex.
LPI Inc. began its operations in Osseo,WI. The company manufactures industrial lighting products for the paint finishing industry. LDPI Inc. was created the same year as a division dedicated to light fixture manufacturing. The companies relocated to Banbury Place in 1993.
Pro-Cise Inc. was established in 1999 and specializes in designing precision components for manufacturing processes. Badger Industrial Supply and Equipment, which started in 2003 as Badger Industrial Equipment, serves as a catalog sales division within LPI Inc. TBL
