Metal fabricator to expand to Banbury
Posted: May 6, 2011
Dyanamic Fabrication and Finishing, 3132 Louis Ave., Eau Claire, which was established only two months ago by Jason Tambornino, is in the process of moving out of the Chippewa Valley Innovation Center and into a 20,000-square-foot location in Banbury Place, 800 Wisconsin St., Eau Claire.
"We're a metal fabricator. We have customers who are at capacity and don't have the ability to produce their products anymore...so we make products out of steel with lasers," said Tambornino, whose brother, Curt, owns Curt Manufacturing in Altoona.
"We do contract work for Curt, but we also have 10-15 other customers. We started with one laser and we have now purchased eight lasers," said Tambornino, who spent 13 years working at Curt Manufacturing prior to spending the past four years for a company that went out of business late last year.
Dynamic Fabrication and Finishing currently has four employees, but plans to double its workforce in the coming weeks. By this time next year, Tambornino said he intends to have as many as 15 employees. TBL
