TBL has learned that Air Communications of Wisconsin Inc., 2335 Eddy Lane, Eau Claire, will be purchasing the 11,000-square-foot building at 1600 Western Ave., Eau Claire, from Lyman Lumber. The deal is expected to close October 1st.
"We've outgrown the space we have now. We hope to be in the new location by October 18th," said Air Communications President Tammy Boiteau, who added that the former Lyman Lumber Cabinet showroom will be remodeled prior to the relocation.
Air Communications of Wisconsin Inc., which was established in 1977, specializes in two-way radios for schools, police and fire departments and small businesses. Boiteau, who acquired the company in 2007, said her firm has the largest LTR (Logic Trunk Radio) system in the region.
"We have towers throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota," said Boiteau, who has five employees.
Northwestern Bank in Eau Claire assisted with the financing. Dean Larsen of Acquisition Realty & Development represented both the buyer and seller in the transaction. TBL
