The City of Eau Claire Plan Commission this week approved a site plan and preliminary condo plat for the next phase of the White Oak Commons Shopping Center, which is located southeast of Best Buy, at the northwest corner of Keystone Crossing and Commonwealth Avenue.
According to plans prepared by Ayres Associates, Michael's Crafts and Petsmart will occupy two of the three spaces in the 49,000-square-foot retail center. However, according to the project developer, no official announcement can be made regarding potential tenants on the six-acre site.
"We can't release any information until we get leases signed, but hopefully we can start the project this fall once we get all of the documents finalized," said Stuart Schaefer of Commonweal Development. TBL
