Mega starts Chippewa Falls remodel project
Consumers Cooperative Association (CCA), owner of the three Mega Foods grocery stores in Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls, has begun a renovation of its 45,000-square-foot facility in Chippewa Falls.
According to CCA CEO and Mega Foods President Mike Buck, the project involves an interior upgrade and a reorganization within the store.
"We decided to not expand the store, but do a remodel to better serve our customers. We're doing an adjustment to the facade to better reflect the interior, which should be completed within a week or so...and we've modified the merchandise to make more room for 250 new items," said Buck, who assumed his position with the cooperative in October after most recently serving as a vice president with Super Valu in Minneapolis.
Mega Foods is leasing the grocery store space in Chippewa Falls from Agree Development Corp.
Consumers Cooperative also owns and operates 18 Mega Holiday gas/convenience stores in Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls and two Mega Lube & Oil stations in Eau Claire.TBL
