Business park receives priliminary approval
The City of Eau Claire Plan Commission this week approved a preliminary plat for the new Crossing Meadows Business Park to be developed south of Cross Street, between Highway 93 and London Road.
The 10-acre parcel, which features seven individual lots, is located near Interstate 94 and is owned by Bob Graziano.
"We have accepted offers on three of the lots from local contractors who plan to build two or three separate office buildings," said Dean Larsen of Acquisition Realty & Development, who will handle all land sale agreements.
Larsen said the land to be sold is valued at approximately $1.5 million and the facilities to be developed will range from 5,500 square feet to 14,000 square feet. He estimated that the total value of the business park, which will be similar to the nearby Southtowne Office Park, could exceed $5 million over the course of the next several years.
Kramer Land Design Studio is the project engineer.
