New call center locates on Eau Claire's west side

TBL has learned that WAH Agent, LLC, a subsidiary of vCustomer Corp. of Kirkland,WA, has signed a lease agreement to occupy 5,300 square feet in West Park, 2514 Alpine Rd., Eau Claire, to establish a state-of-the-art inbound and outbound customer contact center.

WAH Agent will benefit from the leverage of vCustomer's strength and experience in the industry, according to Eau Claire Call Center Manager Matt Wisse.

"vCustomer Corporation has multiple offshore call center locations serving clients worldwide. We are looking forward to coming to Eau Claire with our first domestic center, which will provide inbound, outbound and home agent support for our clients and their customers," said Wisse, who added that the center will be up and running by October 15th and will initially provide employment for 25-30 people at both the agent and managerial levels.

"Our plan is to grow the center to 150 employees in Eau Claire and the surrounding area within the next 12 months," said Wisse, who has six years of experience in the local call center market.

WAH is now soliciting and collecting resume's via its web site (www.wahagent.com) and at their physical location.

"We are looking for employees who have previous customer service or call center experience...however, that is not a requirement," he said.

WAH Agent provides services to the communications/telecom, travel/hospitality, retail and technology industries. Its parent company, vCustomer Corp., has won numerous awards over the past decade, including the recent #1 ranking for employee satisfaction by DataQuest Magazine for an unprecedented three years in a row.

Space is being leased from West Park Partners Ltd. Al Taft of AFT Real Estate in Eau Claire handled the lease agreement. TBL
