Wissota Health to build new facility in Chippewa
Posted: April 24, 2015
Wissota Health and Regional Vent Center announced plans this week to construct a 36-bed assisted living facility on Lakeland Drive in Chippewa Falls. The new facility is expected to meet the needs of both independent seniors and those requiring additional daily living services and support.
According to Jeremy Kiley, regional director of operations for Wissota Health, the new facility will be located just one block from Wissota Health's existing operations.
"This creates a continuum of care that will undoubtedly benefit Wissota Health and Regional Vent Center and the community of Chippewa Falls. The new property will also benefit from the close proximity to sister facilities and its location relative to local clinics and St. Joseph's Hospital. Construction will begin in the spring of 2016," said Kiley.
Wissota Health and Regional Vent Center is part of a larger, local healthcare company, Dove Healthcare & Affiliates. The company provides rehabilitation and post-hospital care, ventilator, tracheostomy, long-term and end-of-life care.
Wissota Health and Regional Vent Center is rated "5 Stars" by the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare and is a 2014 Achievement in Quality Award Winner from the American Health Care Association. TBL
